Portland Locals — Host a Pro! — Our staff housing manager, Trudy Thatcher, would like you to hear the following:

Hey Portland Dancers!

Would you like to host an out-of-town WCS pro during Come Rain Come Shine 2010? Do you have a bed, a couch, an air mattress — or just plain floor space — and a kind, generous heart? Then, PLEASE, volunteer to 'Host a Pro' the weekend of June 4th - 6th.

What's in it for me, you ask? Here are just the top three reasons to open you home to a visiting pro:

1. You get to spend quality time with fascinating and talented people. If you ever wanted to know how a WCS dancer got to be one of the top professionals in the world - or any other burning dance question - this is your chance to ask. 2. Your hospitality can break the ice and help you feel a lot more comfortable about asking the pros to dance. After all, isn't dancing with the pros something you will remember and brag about long after the event? 3. It's really good for your dance karma. Need I say more....

So, if you have some space available and you can see how much fun this can be, please let me know ASAP. We're not EHarmony, but we will do our very best to make everyone happy with their matches!
